Introduction
Thai Red Cross
The Thai Red Cross Society, which operates under the auspices of HM Queen Sirikit, is one of the largest humanitarian organizations in Thailand. It provides services as part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and was founded in 1893.
The society is headquartered in Bangkok and governed by the Act on Thai Red Cross Society. Its expenses are borne by the government, and its president is appointed by the king upon advice and consent of the council of ministers.
Target audiences
Following the statutes of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the Thai Red Cross Society’s key focus areas are holistic public health services, disaster relief assistance, supply of blood products and transfusion, and improving quality of life in impoverished communities. The Thai Red Cross serves all residents of the Kingdom.
Unique Value Proposition
The society offers public health services in remote areas of the country, as well as other medical and charitable services such as hospitals, blood and organ donations, AIDS and vaccine programs, medical education, child welfare, etc.
The Project - Scope of Work
The Thai Red Cross Society commissioned Vimi to redesign the UX and UI of their new app, with the goal of improving operations and experience for their volunteers.
