Introduction
Established in 1907 under royal approval, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) is Thailand’s first commercial bank, and one of the country’s largest financial institutions, with a workforce in the tens of thousands and a diversified banking, insurance, and asset management business serving retail, commercial, and corporate clients.
Target Audiences
The end users of the platform built under this engagement were Relationship Managers in SCB’s insurance division — customer-facing staff responsible for originating and servicing bancassurance business.

The Project — Scope of Work
SCB engaged Capco, an international financial services consulting and technology integration firm, to digitise the bank’s bancassurance operations through a Relationship Manager-facing iPad application. Capco held the overall delivery mandate, including technology build and stakeholder management with SCB leadership. Capco engaged VIMI as a design partner to support the UX, UI, and Thai-language localisation aspects of the proposed solution.
VIMI’s scope covered interface design for the RM-facing iPad workflows, visual direction aligned to SCB’s institutional identity, and design accommodation for both Thai and English interface content.
